New Zealand pork is nutritious and tastes delicious!

Pork also contains essential minerals such as zinc, selenium, iron and magnesium which are vital for thyroid hormone production, immunity and a healthy, relaxed mind and body.

Pork is relatively low in fat compared to some other meats. A 120g grilled pork leg steak has only 3.5g of fat, with half of that being monounsaturated fat, known to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol. Compare this to a chicken leg, which has 11.1g fat.
