New Zealand Pork Conference 2024

The NZPork Conference is an annual event that attracts around 80-100 New Zealand pork producers (commercial, wholesalers, feed producers) and wider industry, including retailers.

It is the only national gathering of the industry and is both well attended and publicised.

This year we are taking the conference back to where it all began, Wellington, as we celebrate 50 years of the New Zealand Pork Industry Board.

In 1974, NZPork (then known as the NZ Pork Council) split from the Dairy Council and became its own entity.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also look into the future of pig farming.

This event brings together the sector to prepare for the important challenges and opportunities ahead.

NZPork will also be hosting a cocktail hour with Government officials and Ministers in attendance, followed by our annual industry dinner, the ‘Wine and Swine”.
