Pigcare™ for farmers

Registering for PigCare™ has benefits for you, your pigs and the consumers you sell your products to.

PigCare™ accreditation provides you with the assurance that you are providing for the welfare of the pigs that you farm, including meeting or exceeding New Zealand’s animal welfare standards.

It entitles the pork you produce to be labelled with the PigCare™ logo thus providing retailers and consumers with the assurance that the pork you produce has been farmed to high animal welfare standards.
