In February this year, NZPork launched a new market promotion campiagn, Mum's Night Off. The campaign is designed to 'interrupt' the consumer and increase frequency of purchase and consumption of 100% New Zealand pork by getting dads into the kicthen and giving mum a night off. Thank you to everyone who took part in the GIA Deed survey. We received an excellent response with 95% of producers who responded supporting NZPork signing the GIA Deed. The next step is to take the results to the Minister and, with his approval, sign the Deed. From that point the Operational Planning process can begin. This will include a cost/benefit analysis and consultation with industry for each plan. No funding agreement will be entered into without extensive industry consultation.
