New Zealand Pork invests in Research both domestically and internationally. Past and present investment areas include: Environment, Biosecurity, Feeding & Nutrition, Biosecurity, Meat Quality and Animal Welfare. To see current and past projects and download reports follow the link.

New Zealand Pork is a core partner of the Australian Pork Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) which is a 7 year research programme funded by Industry Organisations, Central and State Governments and Commercial Companies. For more information and CRC newsletters follow the link

Technology Transfer

An annual programme of technology transfer is developed and delivered in conjunction with Massey University. The programmes vary from interactive workshops to seminars to written material and are aimed at all levels including business owners and employees. R&D Briefs 

R&D Briefs are 2-4 page occasional technical publications. An R&D Brief may provide a summary of NZPork research projects, address seasonal issues or provide best practice information on a specific topic. Download R&D Briefs

PigLink

PigLink is an annual series of free e-seminars provided to Australian & New Zealand pork producers through the generous financial support of the Pork CRC.
